With industrial beginnings as a chemical plant operator and non-destructive testing technician before eventually becoming a veteran protective coatings inspector, Mr. Ricky has brought extensive experience to the field of corrosion control for almost 30 years.
As an AMPP (formerly NACE International) Senior Certified Coatings Inspector, Ricky has encountered numerous cases of both successful and failed coating systems. His years of experience bring the respect and trust of countless former clients and co-workers who have come to regard his consultation as indispensable in the protective coatings industry.
In addition, Ricky is a Cathodic Protection (CP) Technician certified by the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP). He has worked in a number of pipeline and crude oil storage facilities. Ricky has also served as the Quality Assurance inspector on behalf of NASA for a major CP replacement project at the John C. Stennis Space Center.

Having a background in metallic pressure vessels and piping systems in the petroleum and aerospace industries, Mr. Chandler is very familiar with the potentially devastating effects of corrosion if left unchecked. He has performed several fitness-for-service evaluations of numerous high value assets subject to corrosion. Mr. Chandler has overseen API 510 and 570 in-service inspection programs.
His main strength is his ability to communicate complex technical issues to all relevant stakeholders, equipping them to make the most informed decisions regarding their assets. Chandler is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas with areas of focus in mechanical design, engineering materials and corrosive damage mechanisms.
